Sky Software is proud to announce the successful upgrade of multiple luxury properties—Mövenpick Petra, Grand Mercure Petra, and Mövenpick Dead Sea—to Bayan Cloud, marking a strategic transition from Bayan Desktop to a modern, cloud-based platform.
This transformation reflects the hotels’ long-standing trust in Bayan solutions and their positive experience with Sky Software’s customer support. Building on years of partnership, the move to Bayan Cloud was driven by the need to enhance operational efficiency, accessibility, and control, while preparing the properties for future growth.
Through Bayan Cloud, the hotels are now benefiting from advanced features, including direct extraction of journal vouchers and bank files, a fully digital Workflow Module that streamlines approvals and significantly reduces paperwork, and automated system and email notifications for key employee and administrative events such as birthdays and official document expirations.
The projects also included the activation of critical system integrations, such as Sun Journal Vouchers, the Sun System, and time attendance machines, ensuring seamless alignment between HR and financial operations across all properties.
A key differentiator of these implementations was the scope of restructuring undertaken. Sky Software redesigned administrative units and employee grading frameworks from the ground up to fully align with Accor standards, resolving previous inconsistencies and establishing a clear, standardized grading structure across the Petra properties.
At Mövenpick Dead Sea, one of Sky Software’s earliest Bayan clients using the system since August 2003, the migration preserved full historical data while unlocking the complete range of Bayan Cloud capabilities. This ensured continuity in operations and reporting, while delivering immediate added value through improved usability and performance.
What truly sets these projects apart is the strength of the long-term partnership between Sky Software and its clients. From early Bayan adopters to recent cloud
